Random Sandstone Boulders – Tallebudgera Valley, Gold Coast Qld

This lovely retired couple had purchased their dream acreage property to totally transform this tired but solid old home located at the Gold Coasts Tallebudgera Valley.

The large back garden was not being fully utilised due to the lawn sloping away quickly in two directions. A Random Sandstone Boulder retaining wall was chosen to help alleviate the problem and create two flat manageable areas.

One of our specialized excavators was summoned to Tallebudgera Valley, Gold Coast Qld to dig out the embankment on the grass and grade the surrounding area appropriately before constructing of the Random Sandstone Boulder wall.

The largest boulders are selected for the base rocks and installed first. Drainage gravel, geotextile fabric and an ag. pipe is placed behind the wall before the final grading of soil.

The owners of this home were particularly happy with the outcome of their new wall.
