Flush Face Garden Wall Concrete Blocks – Surfers Paradise Gold Coast

This waterfront home on the gold coast was lacking a flat area for entertaining on the water. Australian Retaining Walls were charged with finding a suitable solution to this Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Qld property. A new deck was to be built close to the home but the lower part of the garden near the water had to be raised to meet the new deck.

A Flush Face Garden Wall concrete block system was deemed to be suitable and will be built to 1 metre tall. The existing boat ramp also had to be taken into consideration. It was decided that the Flush Face Garden Wall would be built around the boat ramp and steps would be installed after construction of the wall was complete.

As well as constructing the Flush Face Garden Wall, Australian Retaining Walls client asked us if we could also install the posts for their new fence, of course we were happy to do so. Installing the posts at this early stage saved a lot of extra hard work for our clients. A lot of drainage gravel would be required behind this Flush Face Garden Wall and our clients fence would be as close to the wall as possible. If you have ever tried to dig a post hole into gravel you will know what I mean, it is very difficult!

After a lot of hard work Australian Retaining Walls part in this large project was complete, all ready for the carpenters and landscapers to carry out their projects.
