Diamond Concrete Block Retaining Walls

Another typical case of a timber wall coming to the end of its functional life. The owner of this home was justifiably concerned about this old timber wall failing. If it had of collapsed it would take out the carport built on top with it. Not to mention the potential damage it could have done to the home below.

After consultation with one of our engineering associates we put a proposal together to build a Diamond block wall below the carport area. The owner was happy with our proposal so we acquired the engineer designs and forms. We then helped our client with the private certifier to get it approved with the local council. Once everything was approved we got busy with construction.

We also put a new standard black pool type fence 1200mm high safety rail on top of the newly constructed wall. These pictures were taken before the job was completely finished. Another wall built and another satisfied client. Just glad we could help before something catastrophic had of happened at this home.
