Client Challenge:
In Yatala, Gold Coast QLD, a client faced a dilemma with a deteriorating timber wall near their pool area. While structurally adequate for a few more years, the desire for an aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound solution led them to seek a dramatic landscape transformation.
Our Solution:
After consultations, we settled on a "B Grade Cut" Sandstone boulder wall, paired with large, machine-carved sandstone steps, to revitalise the pool surroundings. The project commenced with the careful demolition of the old timber wall, followed by extensive earthworks to prepare the site for the new, imposing Sandstone structure.
Outcome:
The new "B Grade Cut" Sandstone boulder wall, coupled with the elegant sandstone steps, significantly elevated the pool area's appearance and functionality. The project concluded with landscaping enhancements, including turf on the upper tier and a combination of plants and mulch on the lower levels, fully realising the client's vision for their outdoor space.
