The homeowners were frustrated with their deteriorating timber retaining walls that no longer provided the necessary stability or aesthetic appeal to their property. The backyard's limited access, which prevented the use of machinery, added complexity to the task of replacing these walls.
Our Solution
Australian Retaining Walls opted for sandstone rock walls as the ideal replacement for the old timber structures. Given the access restrictions, these walls were constructed entirely by hand. The team's expertise in traditional stone masonry allowed for the precise placement and alignment of each sandstone rock, ensuring both structural integrity and visual appeal. Additionally, at the homeowners' request, a concrete path around the side of the garage was removed to further enhance the area's layout.

The new sandstone rock walls not only resolved the issues posed by the old timber walls but also revitalized the backyard's appearance.
