Client Challenge
In the development of a new subdivision on the Sunshine Coast, the need arose for retaining walls that were not only structurally sound but also aesthetically pleasing. The project demanded walls capable of reaching heights of up to 3 metres to effectively manage the terrain.
Our Solution
Awarded the contract by Hanson, the manufacturer of the Vertica block system, we took on the challenge head-on. Our collaboration with Hanson's engineers ensured that the walls exceeding 1 metre in height were reinforced with no-fines concrete, providing the necessary strength while maintaining the visual appeal of the Vertica blocks. Our dedicated team worked meticulously on-site to produce these desirable walls, covering an impressive area of approximately 900+ square metres.
Outcome
The project culminated in the successful installation of aesthetically pleasing and robust Vertica block retaining walls, spanning over 900 square metres and reaching up to 3 metres in height. This not only enhanced the visual appeal of the new subdivision but also ensured the longevity and stability of the landscape, marking another milestone in our portfolio of successful projects.
