Windsor Concrete Blocks – Southport, Gold Coast

Australian Retaining Walls were recruited to this Southport, Gold Coast Qld property to assist with the transformation of this neglected back yard. Along with the construction of a new Windsor concrete block wall, Australian Retaining Walls were charged with ripping up what was left of the existing lawn and re-turfing it. Some fairly large palm trees would also need to be re-located from the middle of the lawn into the new garden that we would create in the corner.

As well as freeing up more useable lawn space, the new location of the palms would also provide a natural screen from the next door property.

As you can see the Windsor concrete blocks make for a great looking retaining wall. They can also be used as an edge for garden bed as Australian Retaining Walls have used them here. The base course of the Windsor concrete block wall was extended to accommodate the need for a garden edge. A few new shrubs, mulch and some turf and this back yards overhaul is complete.
