Bush Rock Boulder Retaining Wall Mudgeeraba

Another example of a timber wall coming to the end of its short life. This wall had pine sleeper horizontal beams of 50mm thick and didn’t look very old. The beams were no strong enough and were bulging out with the weight of the soil it had behind it.

The owners instructions were clear. Give us something cost effective that will last.

Australian Retaining Walls gave a couple of different wall options. A bush rock boulder system was chosen by the owners. Australian Retaining Walls was awarded the job.

We had our engineer associate draw a design and provide forms 15 & 16. Australian Retaining Walls lodged the building application on behalf of the owners.

Australian Retaining Walls removed the existing timber wall and cut and removed some of the driveway to take the new bush rock boulder retaining wall. We also removed the vegetation at the owners request.
